Ok, there are lots of really cute things that get posted here but really I have a teenage son and he does some pretty fun stuff also. Tonight he and a buddy did the Mentos in Coke thing which lasted about 3 seconds. Granted a very fine 3 seconds but they were wont for more. Soon they combined the fascination of his youth (not so long ago) the combinations of vinegar and baking soda and baking powder and water. There were many a plaster volcano and film canister filled with these ingredients that filled an afternoon. Tonight they decided to add vinegar, baking soda, baking powder and water into a large plastic container and shook it up walking down the hill. By the time we got to the bottom of the hill there was no turning back and with one long armed slam dunk onto hard pavement the quick blast that included a loud boom was really much more spectacular than the Mentos. Loving this part of the teen years when they can figure out cool things and ........ still invite me along : )
